Your team already has the order, the payment or the supplier file. I build custom Sage 50 integrations that move those details through your business, so people spend less time entering, matching and rebuilding the same information.
Choose the problem that sounds familiar. I can build a focused integration for one task or connect several stages across your existing tools.
01 / Sales & billing
From the first quote to the complete invoice.
For wholesalers, distributors and service businesses whose sales process stretches across spreadsheets, email, a CRM and Sage.
Wholesalers · distributors · service companies
Stop entering the same invoice twice.
Your order or invoicing software already holds the customer, items and totals. Accounting types them into Sage again.
What I can build
Connect your existing application, API or Excel export to a repeatable sales-invoice workflow. Map customers, SKUs, accounts and taxes, review exceptions and return the Sage reference to the original record.
Find the right customer price before sending the quote.
Someone opens old invoices to find the last price, checks a separate agreement and rebuilds the quote.
What I can build
Bring agreed prices, recent purchases and quote rules into one sales screen. Flag unusual discounts or margin exceptions and carry the approved details into the next Sage document.
Sales asks accounting for customer details, prices or an invoice update because their CRM and Sage are disconnected.
What I can build
Connect Sage with your custom CRM or existing sales system. Give the right people access to the customer and document information they need, and transfer approved sales details back through the agreed workflow.
Fewer requests to accounting. Clearer next actions.
Contractors · cost-plus services · fulfillment teams
Send the invoice with everything the customer needs.
The invoice is ready, but someone still needs to collect receipts, work breakdowns or delivery evidence and assemble the email.
What I can build
Gather the supporting documents against the order or job, check the required attachments and prepare one complete invoice package. Include tracking or payment links where the chosen systems support them, with a visible delivery history.
Give purchasing and the warehouse the same picture.
For teams managing supplier documents, changing costs, committed stock and orders that ship in stages.
Accounts payable · bookkeeping firms
Turn supplier PDFs into a reviewable invoice queue.
Vendor invoices arrive by email or PDF. Staff copy the supplier, amounts and tax details into a spreadsheet, then into Sage.
What I can build
Build an intake workflow that extracts invoice details, matches vendors and accounts, flags possible duplicates and routes uncertain values for approval before the agreed purchase-invoice posting step.
The document, approval and posting stay connected.
Update supplier prices without editing items one by one.
A supplier sends a new price list, but old costs keep appearing on purchase orders. New item numbers need a separate cleanup.
What I can build
Match the supplier spreadsheet to your Sage catalogue, show the proposed cost changes and separate new or unmatched items. Apply approved updates through the supported route, with an outcome report your buyer can check.
Know what is available before promising the stock.
The on-hand number looks healthy, but another order has already committed or picked the goods.
What I can build
Create a shared available-to-sell view using stock, open orders, warehouse commitments and expected receipts. Define reservation rules and surface shortages where staff take orders, with channel updates when included in scope.
Sales and the warehouse work from the same picture.
Make partial shipments and backorders clear to customers.
Customers receive part of an order and call to ask what is still outstanding. Staff check several screens before replying.
What I can build
Bring ordered, shipped and outstanding quantities into an order-status page or shipment message. Connect expected dates and tracking references, and make changed delivery information visible to the team.
For accounts receivable teams, bookkeepers, payroll administrators and contractors who keep reconciling the same details by hand.
Accounts receivable · businesses selling on account
Match customer payments to the invoices they settle.
Your ERP or remittance file contains the payment, but someone still enters the receipt and allocates it across Sage invoices.
What I can build
Connect the payment source to a receipt-and-allocation workflow. Preserve payment dates, handle agreed full and partial payment rules, and send unmatched references, deductions or ambiguous allocations to a person for review.
Payments with the right invoice and date attached.
Every reporting cycle starts with exports, VLOOKUPs and manual checks to join invoices, GST/HST, vendors or sales channels.
What I can build
Create repeatable reports and dashboards that join the data your team needs. Add saved filters, scheduled exports and drilldowns for invoice and tax detail, product sales by channel or the management questions your standard reports leave open.
Contractors · construction teams · project accountants
See job costs against the phase budget.
Bills, labour and equipment usage reach accounting, but the project manager still needs another spreadsheet to see where the job stands.
What I can build
Connect approved purchases, timesheets and equipment-hour records to the right job and phase. Show budget-versus-actual, work-in-progress and exceptions using the allocation rules agreed with your accounting team.
A clearer view of the job while work is happening.
Total employee hours across rates and departments.
An employee has several wage lines, overtime rates or departments. Payroll manually adds columns to check the total for each period.
What I can build
Prepare repeatable employee-hour summaries from the agreed sources, with separate rate and department breakdowns. Define which hour types count, retain the source detail and flag differences for payroll review.
For Brador Fabrics, I built a custom CRM connecting Shopify, email and Sage 50. Orders enter the workflow, quotes can be sent in one click, payment details are logged and invoice information stays connected to fulfillment.
Which businesses do you build Sage automation for?
Wholesalers and distributors managing repeat orders, contractors tracking jobs and supporting documents, retailers connecting sales channels, and finance or bookkeeping teams handling recurring invoice, payment and reporting work. We start with the specific process your team repeats.
Do you only build invoice imports?
No. Custom work can connect sales, supplier invoices, customer payment allocation, pricing, inventory visibility, CRM, project costing and reporting. A build can improve one handoff or connect several stages around a shared working record.
Does this work with Sage 50 Canada?
Sage 50 Canada is the starting point for this service and the Brador Fabrics project. We confirm your exact product, edition, release and company setup before selecting and testing the integration route. Other Sage products or countries need a separate compatibility assessment.
Can you connect software we already use?
Yes. We assess the application’s API, exports or other supported access, then map the records, business rules and result that Sage needs. Excel and CSV sources, existing CRMs, ecommerce systems and custom applications can be part of a scoped workflow.
What if Sage or an existing add-on already handles part of the process?
I start with your current features and add-ons. The custom build connects the missing steps: source cleanup, mapping, approval, document handling, exception review or reporting. We use an existing supported route where it fits.
Will uncertain data be posted automatically?
Approval and exception rules are part of the design. The workflow can hold unmatched customers or items, unclear payments, duplicate candidates and inconsistent totals for review. We agree which routine cases may proceed and which need a person.
What do you need for an initial conversation?
Your Sage product and version, the system or file the work starts in, who handles it today and roughly how often it happens. A walkthrough or redacted sample is enough to identify a useful first build. Please leave real customer, employee and bank information out of the initial email.
Bring the task your team keeps repeating.
Tell me which Sage product you use, where the information starts and what happens by hand today. A walkthrough or redacted example is enough to start.
