Brador Fabrics case study: Shopify, custom CRM and Sage 50 automation
Brador Fabrics has supplied fabric from Montréal since 1977. Every order passed through one person, Areil, who re-typed it into a quote, a payment spreadsheet, Sage 50 and an invoice email.
What was built
Jashan Harish rebuilt the website and built a custom CRM that connects Shopify, email and Sage 50:
- Shopify orders are pulled into the CRM automatically.
- Quotes are drafted automatically and sent in one click, without opening Outlook.
- Every order's stage is tracked in the CRM, replacing the payment spreadsheet.
- Payment details are read from the email and logged against the order.
- Payments post to Sage 50 automatically.
- When the shipper enters tracking, the customer gets the invoice and tracking together.
Results
Less re-typing. Fewer manual handoffs. Orders enter automatically, quotes can be sent in one click, payments are logged against orders, and invoices go out with tracking.
